Refund Policy

At PiqueTickets, we value transparency and fairness for both event producers and attendees. Our platform allows producers to establish and manage their own refund policies.

1. Producer-Defined Refund Policies

  • Each event producer is responsible for defining the refund policy for their event.
  • The refund policy must be clearly displayed during the ticket purchasing process to ensure buyers are informed.
  • Producers can choose from the following refund options:
    • Full Refund: Refunds are allowed up to a specified date before the event.
    • Partial Refund: Refunds are available for a percentage of the ticket price, based on the producer's criteria.
    • No Refunds: Refunds are not available, except in cases of event cancellation or rescheduling.

2. General Refund Guidelines

Event Cancellations:

  • If an event is canceled, all ticket holders are entitled to a full refund, regardless of the producer's stated refund policy.
  • PiqueTickets will assist in processing refunds but does not cover refund costs.

Event Rescheduling:

  • Tickets remain valid for the new event date.
  • Attendees unable to attend the rescheduled date must be offered a refund.

Force Majeure:

In cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters), producers are encouraged to issue refunds or offer credit for future events.

3. Refund Request Process

Attendees can request refunds directly through the PiqueTickets platform by:

  1. Logging into their account.
  2. Navigating to the "My Tickets" section.
  3. Selecting the event and submitting a refund request (if the policy allows).

Producers are notified of refund requests and must respond within 5 business days.

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Depending on the payment processor, refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in the buyer's account.
  • Any transaction fees (e.g., processing fees) are non-refundable unless the event is canceled.

5. Dispute Resolution

  • If an attendee disputes a refund denial, PiqueTickets will mediate the issue to find a fair resolution.
  • Producers are expected to cooperate and provide justification for refund decisions.
  • Persistent disputes or violations of refund policies may result in removal from the platform.
